Who we are
EVOLV Coaching is a mobile coaching application created by Gary Goddard Coaching. This privacy policy explains what information the EVOLV Coaching app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Account information When you create an account, we collect your name and, if you choose to add one, a profile photo.
Coaching and wellbeing data To provide personalised coaching, the app collects information you choose to share, including:
- Life Audit scores and goals across personal categories
- Targets, milestones, and progress updates you create
- Diary entries, including optional voice recordings
- Daily check-in responses
- Values you select during the Values exercise
- Conversations with Gary AI, our AI coaching companion
- Routine and to-do list activity
This information is used solely to personalise your coaching experience within the app and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
Subscription information If you subscribe to EVOLV Standard, payment is processed by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status to manage access to app features.
Technical information We may collect basic technical information such as app version and device type to help us fix bugs and improve the app.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Generate personalised coaching responses from Gary AI
- Track your progress across routines, targets, and reflective exercises
- Provide weekly summaries and insights
- Maintain your account and subscription status
- Improve the app’s features and reliability
AI Coaching (Gary AI)
EVOLV includes an AI coaching companion called Gary AI. Conversations with Gary AI are processed using Anthropic’s Claude AI model to generate responses. Messages you send may be transmitted securely to Anthropic for the purpose of generating a coaching response. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Gary AI is a coaching companion and is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or crisis support.
Safety note: If a conversation indicates a risk of self-harm or suicide, the app is designed to display crisis support resources and contact information for relevant helplines. This is a safety feature, not a substitute for emergency services.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider, with industry-standard security practices. API requests to AI services are routed through a secure server-side function so that sensitive credentials are never exposed within the app itself.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account or use the in-app “Reset App Data” feature, your locally stored data is permanently removed from your device. You may contact us to request deletion of any data held on our servers.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account

Children’s privacy
EVOLV Coaching is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes within the app.
